It's not like Dungeons and Dragons, where you get experience points and then automatically go up one level. I have serious doubts I'd be a lot better raising a baby or toddler now than I was six years ago. Older? Definitely. Wiser? Sort of. More patient? No way. I sometimes still feel like each day is a lifetime. When days are really crazy and all over the place lately, it reminds me of the scene near the end of "Goodfellas," where Ray Liotta is running to the airport, cooking, visiting a sick friend, etc, all in one day!
